Minecraft Star Wars: Path of the Jedi DLC pack, first announced by Mojang Studios at the Minecraft Live event in October, has been released. The DLC pack will allow players to transform from Padawan to Jedi Knight during the Clone Wars era of the sci-fi movie series.
Mojang says that the DLC pack will begin the adventure with your player entering the Jedi Academy, where you will learn the ways of the Force. According to the studio, you better learn these lessons soon: “The Clone Wars are wreaking havoc across the universe; Yoda, Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano and other familiar faces await on missions that will take you to new biomes and a previously unexplored planet. The exact details of the missions are for Jedi eyes only, but it's safe to say: You'll never look at our square moon the same way again!”
It is stated that in the game, players will be able to fight monsters on the desert planet Tatooine, as well as going on missions with Master Yoda. Mojang hints that these tasks can be solved in many different ways. This means that the DLC pack offers replayability.
Path of the Jedi will also allow players to customize their own lightsabers and their own droids. All players will be able to get the R2D2 t-shirt for their Minecraft characters, even if they do not buy the DLC pack.
